PRIMITIVE FOLK-ART PRAIRIE DOLL *ENID*

WELCOME,

Welcome,

I have added a new 1800's Prairie Doll I have named Enid, She is 23 inches in height and lightly weighted. Enid is made totally from cloth that has been hand dyed using walnuts which is a natural dye with no chemicals. The face of this Prairie doll is needle sculpted and hand painted using watercolors, Enid's ears were also needle sculpted and stitched to her head. I have needle stitched her expressive mouth and eyebrows before they were painted.

Enid has chubby little hands with separate fingers. Her hair is made from golden dyed flax yarn that has been hand stitched to her head and then braided.

Enid's outfit consists of muslin pantaloons, over the pantaloons she is wearing a precious dress that was handmade and hand embroidered, it also has short sleeves and a med. blue edged collar. I have added a handmade homespun jumper with a medium and tan plaid design. Enid is also wearing a sweet homespun Prairie Bonnet (made by me) and a pair of vintage socks.

This sweet little prairie doll comes with her Valentine's heart Kitty I have made out of dark red and black soft flannel with a hand stitched face.

Enid comes signed and dated in her special box, she is nicely and securely packaged for her trip home.

If you are interested in purchasing Enid, she is now on  http://earlywork-nimblefingerskeepsakes.blogspot.com/

As always, thank you for dropping by.

ENID IS NOW SOLD.  THANK YOU
